This was as the President maintained that no part of the country would be allowed to bleed while the Federal Government watches
Nigerian President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reiterated the commitment and determination of his administration to take on terrorism and banditry in Northern Nigeria head on.
This was as the President maintained that no part of the country would be allowed to bleed while the Federal Government watches.
This was contained in a statement by the President at the 25th anniversary of the Arewa Consultative Forum, ACF, in Kaduna on Saturday.
Represented at the event by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas. The President said he inherited a daunting security situation but remains committed to restoring safety.
He further added that his administration would reverse the prolonged economic decline of the northern region.
To achieve this, Tinubu cited the anticipated rollout of crude oil from the Kolmani fields and other emerging prospects as opportunities for economic renewal.
He said, “I won’t allow the Northern Nigeria to continue to bleed. I will tame the insecurity menace.”
